March 21, 2014

In their upcoming exhibition, Portraiture: The Art of Portraiture from the 1920’s to Present Day, Banff’s Whyte Museum will turn the spotlight on works from private collections that trace the evolution of portraiture from the strict museum school training of Peter and Catharine Whyte through to current day selfies.

We’d like to congratulate Chris Flodberg for the inclusion of his very powerful painting, Cerebus I, in this jaunt through contemporary history. Chris has been showing with Masters Gallery for over a decade, achieving much deserved success and recognition as an outstanding young artist.

The exhibition runs from April 5th until June 8th, 2014, with an opening reception on the evening of April 5th. Visit the Whyte Museum website for more information.
